FEA of an Auxiliary Bracket Attachment
Designed an auxiliary attachment meant to be used on an aircraft alongside a team of three students. The main goal of this project was to design the attachment so that it maximized the strength-to-weight ratio (SWR). The model was designed in SolidWorks and all the simulations were handled through Ansys Mechanical. At the end of the project, we were able to achieve the highest SWR in a class of 100 students.
